What is Lifestyle Medicine?

Lifestyle Medicine is an evidence-based specialty of medicine that looks at modifying lifestyle factors to prevent, manage, and even reverse chronic disease. It shifts the focus from disease-based care to whole person-centred care, and looks at promoting wellbeing and empowering patients to overcome barriers to achieving their health goals.
